Is This For You?
This Is Built For You If...
You work in film, ad films, branded content, or docs
You have 2+ years on set or in post — and AI is something you know you can't ignore anymore.
You've tried AI tools and felt underwhelmed
The output looked generic. Nothing cinematic. You want to know what you're missing.
You want to cut production costs without cutting quality
Tight budgets. Lean teams. You need AI to do the heavy lifting — the right way.
You're starting fresh but serious about filmmaking
No prior VFX software experience needed. If you understand storytelling and have a filmmaker's eye — you're exactly who this session is built for.
What You'll Learn
In 90 Minutes, You'll Walk Away With:
The AI VFX Pipeline

Tools That Actually Work
Which AI tools are being used in real productions right now and how to use them with filmmaker intent.
Cinema-Quality Results
How to get outputs that look like they belong on screen — not like a generic AI experiment.

Diwakar Ghodake
Diwakar Ghodake is a Fine Arts graduate from the prestigious Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai, and a multi-disciplinary creative leader working at the intersection of filmmaking, advertising, VFX, and AI-driven animation. As a VFX Director, Producer, Film Director, and Writer, he is known for merging visual artistry with emotionally resonant, impactful storytelling — and, over the past 18 months, for pioneering AI-powered filmmaking workflows that bring cinematic ambition within reach of independent creators.
He spent over ten years at the Oscar-winning visual effects and animation studio Rhythm & Hues Studios, serving as Lead VFX Modeller, Senior Technical Director, and Digital Concept Sculptor. During this time, he contributed to internationally acclaimed films including Life of Pi, The Golden Compass, Night at the Museum, Superman Returns, Evan Almighty, The Mummy, The Fast and the Furious, Cirque du Freak, and Land of the Lost.
In the Indian film industry, Diwakar has made a notable impact as a VFX Supervisor and Producer on acclaimed projects such as Chitrafit, Satyashodhak (2024), Ek Hota Malin (2025), Shyam Aur Balram (2025), Sawali (2023), Rudan (2024), One Miss Call (2024), Pahile Na Mi Tula (2026), Pori (2023), and Kahani Rubberband Ki (2022).
As a filmmaker, he has directed both animated and live-action short films screened at national and international festivals. His feature directorial debut, CHITRAFIT 3.0 Megapixel (2015), marked a bold foray into independent cinema.
Today, Diwakar leads Neri Studio OPC, where he fuses 25 years of craft mastery with emerging AI tools to expand the boundaries of film, animation, and visual effects — crafting stories that are visually compelling, deeply human, and built on a foundation of true filmmaker thinking rather than tools alone.

What People Are Saying
From Filmmakers Who've Attended.
The way Diwakar breaks down AI for filmmakers is unlike anything I've seen online. He speaks our language, not a tech tutorial, a filmmaker's session.
Arjun Mehta
Director, Mumbai
I've spent months confused about which AI tools to actually use. In 90 minutes I had a clear workflow. Genuinely the most useful thing I've attended this year.
Priya Nair
VFX Artist, Bangalore
The credibility he brings from Rhythm & Hues is real. This is someone who's actually done the work, and it shows in every answer during the Q&A.
Rahul Deshmukh
Cinematographer, Pune
Finally, someone who teaches AI from a filmmaker's perspective. Not a developer. Not a marketer. A real VFX veteran.
Karthik Iyer
Editor, Chennai
I walked in skeptical and walked out with three tools I'm already using in my next project. That's value you can't put a price on.
Sneha Patil
Producer, Mumbai
The Q&A alone was worth it. Getting direct answers from someone with Rhythm & Hues experience? That's irreplaceable.
